haha I ended my betting league season with not submitting picks for the last 3 or 4 events. Probably not the best idea |

| This win will prolly gonna raise some remarks, "western MMA is so much better blahblah" but I don't care. Aoki is a genius and I was rooting for Kawajiri. When Aoki gets a hold of you, no matter who you are, it's already over. |

this is the problem as i see it, with that kind of argument. one of the reasons i was rooting for aoki was so it could show people that he can absolutely beat a good, strong wrestler with decent striking (since people apparently weren't convinced by his wins over jz and alvarez) and that despite stumbling against melendez aoki is still a huge threat to anyone. but people can just interpret this win like you say, that aoki (and by extension japanese mma) was exposed as terrible in the melendez fight, he's still terrible, and now kawajiri is much more terrible.
it sucks that one of the biggest and best wins of aoki's career could be seen by some people as further evidence for japanese mma's lack of talent. |

They will. I don't stick around american forums too much and french people are not educated yet to MMA but still it will bother me like what happened after Fedor lost. That's why I get angry with forums. Anyway I hope Kawajiri is alright. It's always painful when a fighter you like lose. This could end his Dream run so why not going to Strikeforce or the UFC now ?
Glad Omigawa won but I wasn't worried.
edit :

Sometimes, the ring is really is really embarrassing. Anyway, I kinda knew Mizuno was gonna win, if you can survive then land a single clean shot to Manhoef's head, you win. |
