| The big Sustain cards usually get some attention but there's lot's a fights happening on smaller cards that deserve attention but not a new topic and to also keep pace with other news and happenings. First thing is the Shooto brazil bantam weight championship fight at shooto brazil 16 in June between current champ jussier formiga and alexandre pantoja also earlier this week at k'z Kitazawa shooto shinya murofushi put the breaks on his slight skid to keep up with the tops of the flywt division when he choked out takehiro harusaki in the 3rd in a rematch of a fight that took place 2 years ago. Harusaki's opponent before this, Hiroyuki abe 2.0 will fight rambaa for the title later this summer. Also Naohiro Mizuni scores a ko in the first 30 seconds. at this time he should be ready to face the grappling heavy front end of the 132lb class |

| Also just announced for that Shooto Brazil card - Jhonny Eduardo vs. Paulo "Guerrero" Dantas for the 143-pound (or whatever) South American title. Should be a great show. |

Pantoja is not someone to count out in that fight. I do think Formiga can win however, I hope he faces BJ and beats him again. I know Shooto probably wants to set up another Urushitani-BJ match.

Awesome for Abe 2.0, but is Rambaa beatable by anyone at 114 right now? |

the shinya harusaki fight clip is sick.
i don't see why they would want Uru bj again seeing as the last fight made the division look like a joke. if anything this should set up Uru-Mamoru.
I thought abe 2.0 would be the next best at 114, he is slightly better than than shinpei at the things shinpei does well but he is also more vulnerable. At this point the most exciting title math to ask for is with junji ito, he seems to have improved considerably and i think would have the best shot |

I was hoping for Ito vs Abe for the #1 contender spot, but that never materialized. Ito has improved quite a bit and looked great against HEAT. Abe put together a nice win over ATCH, but neither will beat Rambaa. |
