kid yamamoto will face federico lopez 4-2 (xtreme couture) on the may 15th event. as of now the fight will not be televised.....will see
both kid and shaolin vs beerbohm fights are in the undercard portion........strikeforce.com(events)
bad move by the company....shaolin vs beerbohm should be a headliner of the challenger shows so as kid....at least....if not in the main card.....but the undercard is so stupid.....

Same opinion with me. Oh well though, they are probably hoping it will be a tune up or a quick KO that will show on the main card. |

I understand giving him a favorable matchup to get him back on track, but I don't understand having it on the prelims of a Strikeforce event. Strikeforce hasn't done much to promote the smaller weight classes so I can't see him having a lot of interesting future matchups there.
I guess if it's just a one-time thing to get him a win and maybe restore some of his confidence before he returns to Dream then it somewhat makes sense. I still say it should be on the televised portion of the card though. |

Maybe they'll stream them online like the Hieron/Riggs fight. Hopefully this time they'd correct some of the problems they had last time. |
