| The Japanese Abu Dhabi Trials are on the 20th of March at Komazawa Olympic Stadium in Tokyo,
There will be 3 very open Divisions,
Division A:
Men - Purple Brown and Black belts (compete together)
weight divisions: -65kg, -74kg, -83kg, -92kg, +92kg.
Division B:
Men - White and Blue belts (compete together)
Open light: -73 kg
Open heavy: +73 kg
Division C:
Women - all belts (compete together)
Open light: -63 kg
Open heavy: +63 kg

Wish I was over there at the moment to watch.. A mate of mine Shane Suzuki will be competing in the World Pro's White/Blue <73kg dev.
The World Pro's will be held at Abu Dhabi on the 15th, 16th and 17th of April

You should have tried out at your Local!
But yeh, sometimes the 'local' is across other side of the country, sucks |

Hawaii, while getting world class level competitors regularly, rarely ever has any grappling events that are notable by name of the event alone, as opposed to by the athletes that are vacationing here and decide to just compete. It's rather unfortunate. |

Look out for my boy Shane Suzuki, competing in Blue Belt under 73KGs!
He said recently that he was in the sauna cutting weight and the Mendez brothers where in there chatting with him! |

| Abu Dhabi is over!
My mate won by submission every round to the quarter finals and then got robbed, his opponent made a sweep at 00:00 on the clock and got the points and won.
He wasn't very happy about that but all in all proud of himself, he got fastest submission of 20sec Triangle, untill Gilherme Mendez got an Armbar at like 10 secs or something.. |
