Yeah, luckily I haven't had to pay for a gi in a while. I have like 4-5 tops and like 4 pants. I think I only paid for like one of those. |

These plain ISAMI Dougi are really cheap http://www.isami.co.jp/hayashi/iteminfo/iteminfo_e.asp
This is my favorite Gi hands down, http://www.inspirit.jp/cgi/jp/wear/armadura/img/1185331896.jpg I'm gunnu work on getting them back in production! |
Would be good to see Inspirit make some gis...
Koral gis are very expensive, dont konw if the quality is there to justify the difference since I have never had one..._________________ Sig bet record 1-1 (1NC) |

Yeah, at the moment I am playing around with protoypes, patch placement etc. I will give you guys a look when they near completion,
Yeah, KORAL gi's are expensive, a good gi is a good gi, I wouldn't pay 100 bucks extra. |

| The INSPIRIT Gi's were/are badass. I've worn mine to death, or maybe a sickly grey colour anyway. Great patch placements. However, the REVERSAL gi's do have some very cool features, especially embroided lightning bolts on the lapels! When I was in ISAMI store in Shinjuku, I spent about $50 on rvddw patches, and another $80 getting them sown on! INSPIRIT could always just screen print some cool pathches for the time being. Certainly a cost-effective way of getting the brand out. |

Really? You got one? Awesome, fuck you must have had that thing for ages, they have been out of prod. for a while! I am currently coming up with a sales pitch to encourage/convince Sugitasan (Inspirit Boss) To re-create Inspirit or Armadura Gis. Prob is, INSPIRIT is core SHOOTO so I have to come up with some statistics and fine points.
And nah, INSPIRIT is too well respected to produce screen print patches, We produce only top quality product so we will have to come up with some quality shit. Anyway, it's the biggest core MMA/SHOOTO Company running in Japan, we don't need to get the brand out haha, Notably said: Sugitasan created SHOOTO LOGO/Website, our branding is everywhere
PS: Where have I seen you before? Are you on another Forum? Your a fellow aussie? |

| Lived in Bris-Vegas for years. I was the first dude who ordered Inspirit gear through Roy when he started up!
Got the Inspirit Gi YEARS ago. Hence the off-white appearance. Wear it at comps. Never seen another!
The REVERSAL patches are tastefully done (great design and colours), and besides a couple stray INSPIRIT ads in MMA Sports magazine, I'm not sure the average Aussie's knowledge of the brand, appreciation of Shooto, and the role INSPIRIT has played in its history!
Hopefully you'll get the green light from Japan to get some Australian-themed product out there! |

Haha, yeah bro, Roy, myself and TakeoSan became partners, we are working at the moment with views of a shop/wearhouse, Sugitasan gave us lisencing and everything, we can produce INSPIRIT AUSTRALIA gear when we get it together! (I have already designed the first Insp Aus Tee, We will prob launch the website with that Tshirt being the main item!)
Only real MMA fans in Aus know of SHOOTO and INSPIRIT, it's not all bad though, we have aims to keen Inspirit exclusive and not mass manafacture like brands such as Tapout or SilverStar. Just like you said, your the only one rollin around in that Gi and It feels good. We hope to keep feeling exclusing and not like Oh look! That guys wearing the same shirt as me! *not feeling very special* haha
It's good there is a select few who know if Inspirits Huge roll in SHOOTO, we will definately wholesale and put it out more then it is now, but keeping it tight at the same time!
Where are you living/Training now??

| Sorry to hijack thread guys! Let's talk about sweet kimonos..
..but, to answer Billy, training at Gracie Barra Newcastle with Jamie Ballard and guys like Justin Murray (who'll be fighting soon near you on the same card as Jai). Send some Inspirit gear down our way, ha ha. We have impressionable punters down here. I already own 5 Inpsirit tees, but some of the other guys may need education! |

Sorry guys, I'll PM you mate.
Also, I am thinking about purchasing a Padilla Gi from what JMMA stated, I read reviews and they seem very quality for the price, they now have Goldweave aswell $95 I think. They have no patches on them so I was thinking on purchasing it for my INSPIRIT prototype gi,
Anyone used one? |
