MAIN FIGHT CARD
Ruslan Karaev vs. Badr Hari
Alistair Overeem vs. Ewerton Teixeira
Jerome Le Banner vs. Semmy Schilt
Errol Zimmerman vs. Remy Bonjasky

RESERVE MATCH
Peter Aerts vs. Gokhan Saki

How do you guys think it'll turn out? I'm gonna say it'll be a rematch of Hari vs. Bonjansky in the finals with Bonjansky taking a decision win. The other lesser possible match-up I foresee as the finals would be Hari vs. Schilt with Hari taking a KO win in the third round. btw, I think this forum also needs a K-1 dedicated message board.

I think Semmy Schilt will take it, if his mind is in the right place on the night. Think he had problems with his motivation last year.

I think Badr will take it , he seems refocused and maybe even a little bit more matured than last year. I think Hari beats Karaev then has to face Alistair in the semis where he will hopefully gets his revenge than move on to the finals against who I think will be Semmy. We already saw what Hari can do to Semmy if he fights his fight. tongue

This may be a small bit of wishful thinking on my part bc im a Hari fan, but so be it.


I think the semi finals will be Hari, Alistair, Semmy and Remy.

Well , there fight at Its Showtime begs to differ Razz Razz

Hopefully if they fight again Hari can duplicate that, although Schilt looked very good against Ghita, who I thought would give him slightly more of a problem.

I didnt see that fight Smile

Both these fighters are very dependent on their mental preperation, but I think Semmy will be very hungry this year and I would not bet against him. Wink

Semmy has a tough road this year. Between Le Banner and Bonjasky it will be difficult for him to have the gas to win it all. I just don't see him having enough left to beat whoever the other finalist (who will have at least one easier fight in the tournament) if he can make it that far.

I think it will be either Hari or Overeem who wins it all. I'm leaning towards Hari, who starting with the Schilt fight has shown incredible focus and mental toughness that we haven't seen before.

Honestly I think that while Schilt will always be dangerous, he is a very traditional and technical fighter who does not match the intensity that Badr Hari has. Hari throws cation to the wind and I think that Schilt will panic and get tagged with a ko.

I think Remy has a good chance of beating Schilt and Overeem, but if he goes against Badr in the final he will lose. Manhoef showed a great strategy against Remy last time they fought, and if Badr comes in with a similar strategy he will at least get a decision against Remy, and he has more of an ability to KO Remy than Melvin did.

I thought Melvin was robbed against Remy to be honest, I can only imagine what Badr will do to him with Melvin's gameplan but with his speed and height.
