K-1 MAX Champ Giorgio Petrosyan will face Khem Sitsongpeenong (formerly known by Khem Fairtex) under K-1 Rules in Italy March 2010.

Awesome, Petrosyan is a treat to watch his technical prowess and devastating skills. Bummer he didn't fight Masato on NYE but that's what happens!

Just interesting the fight is not under Full MT Rules because Petro has fought under Full MT before. Khem is very tough and will give Petro a great fight but I see Petro taking a decision, the fight being under K-1 rules helps. If it was under Full MT I think it'd be closer than it already will be. Great Thai born Thai fighters fighting guys who have had great success in K-1 is always cool to see, no matter the rules.

I am looking forward to this.

It is a shame this fight isn't FTR then again if I was Petro I wouldn't want to fight Kem under FTR seeing how it is K-1 rules and in Italy Petro should win by questionable decision.

i dunno why petro wouldn't fight ftr he's from a mt background, but then the guy hasn't had much luck with ftr.

Khem has been dominating all the champions in Thailand over the last year or so. Probably a top 3 fighter in Thailand right now.

One think Giorgio will have on Khem is a decent size advantage, but this will still be a great fight! Toughest fight of Giorgio's career, no doubt about that.

Khem is very talented, shame that the Contender Asia II didn't go through and his place was taken away. Khem will give a good fight but taking out Giorgio right now is easier said then done.
